Create and connect your bot

Start with BotFather and follow these steps.

  1. 01

Open the official @BotFather link below. In Telegram, tap Start and send /newbot. Check that the username is BotFather.

    /newbot
  2. 02

Enter a display name, then a unique username using Latin letters, digits or underscores and ending in bot. Choose another if it is taken.

  3. 03

Copy your complete HTTP API Token from BotFather, including the colon. The example is not usable. This is not a Telegram login code or an AI API key.

  4. 04

Return to MSH: register and sign in with email → My bots → Connect bot. Paste the token and confirm. You do not need to write code.

  5. 05

Copy the single-use owner binding code from MSH and send it in a private chat to your own bot, not BotFather or a group. It expires after 10 minutes or use; regenerate it on MSH if expired.

  6. 06

For group features, add your bot as a group administrator; your bound TG account must also be an administrator. Use the bot ID tools to get the group ID, authorize it on MSH, claim a trial or buy runtime, resume the bot and enable features individually.

  7. 07

Already have a bot? Send /mybots to BotFather, choose your bot and view API Token. Migrating an existing integration changes its message receiver; stop the old program first. Revoke exposed tokens in BotFather and reconnect after handling the old integration.
